In times of trouble when your heart is in pain
let go all your sorrow and know nothing is in vain.
I will be with you
'cause I am your light!
I will be with you
standing by your side!
I will be there
when no-one else seems to be around,
breaking the silence with my demanding sound!
I am your saviour, your shield, your friend
Let me go with you until the bitter end.
There is my light awaiting you then
when you will split from your mortal being,
and finally be seeing
what has always been there ...
and mankind so often questions with doubt and despair.

For I am your saviour, your shield, your friend
and I will be there for you beyond the so-called end.
